ATX Power 9V to 36V Input That Supports In-Vehicle Computing Drives This New Model To Perform In Severe Temperatures and Environments

PERFECTRON, the innovative industrial-grade embedded system solution provider, is updating its line of fanless embedded systems today with the launch of the PER13A, a low-power, fanless and efficient Intel® Atom™ platform enclosed in a sturdy chassis to ensure a high-quality build to tolerate usage in harsh environments, extreme temperatures and critical operations. 

The compact PER13A embedded system contains multiple input and output ports at both the front and rear of the system for scalable performance. Utilizing an Intel Atom D525 1.8 GHz Dual-Core processor, the PER13Adelivers an efficient, low-power processing system without sacrificing optimal operation. The PER13A is designed for low cost, slim profile, fanless computer applications and built to withstand extreme temperatures—ranging from -20°C to 70°C (-4°F to 158°F)--in both indoor and outdoor stringent conditions. 

Although the PER13A’s design encompasses a compact form factor, the embedded system is scalable by utilizing both its PCI expansion and mini PCI expansion slots. Along with an abundance of inputs and outputs to connect a multitude of peripherals, including an external SIM card holder (supporting GPRS/GSM SIM cards), the PER13A supports ATX power supply functions to allow 9V to 36V DC connections, which makes this embedded system an optimal solution for industrial automation, video surveillance, vehicle and transportation industries
